Username / Actual Name

Hey Guys,
So I’ve setup buddypress right out the box with s2member, and i’m wanting to have my members NOT have a username (as it is currently).
I understand that they must have a username of sort for buddypress, but I would like to use the members actual name. So we don’t have a user name (that they could choose as anything), we remove that question from registration, and the members are asked for their first and last name, and this is used for the members username, and thus url etc.
Is that possible?
