username not displaying next to “What’s new?”

    I’m having an odd conflict with the plugin. If deactivated the problem goes away.

    there are two places where the profile status can be updated – at the user’s personal/profile page (not sure what it’s called) and also directly on the activity page. Both these pages reference the activity/post-form.php file to show “What’s new, User?” along with the text entry box below it, etc. However, with the plugin activated, the username only shows up next to “What’s new” on the personal/profile page.

    I’m using the latest versions of WP and BuddyPress, and all Buddypress plugins were deactivated when I ran this test, except for oEmbed.

    Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

    @shagazulu – Sorry for the late reply. I can confirm that the plugin doesn’t replace the “What’s new, user” on the activity front page, but the username shows up correctly on the profile post form.

    Just added some code that fixes this on the activity directory / front page.

    Look for it in the next few hours.
