    @r-a-y

    Thanks for the bug report.

    I’m using a simple str_replace. Though I see in your case, it would replace many times over!

    Will look into a fix.

    cheers mate, feel free to register a test account (or I can issue one for you) if it will help with finding the fix.

    Good work with this plugin, solved an issue with users injecting code with their display names. :D

    just caught this as well – only happened on new_member activity type though. (ie, the username bob123 turned into bob123123) If the user made a status update or whatever after that, the username is ok.

    @etiviti – i’m going to try your use case! What was the display name for “bob123″?

    the xprofile name? (that is bob) otherwise the wp_users display_name is bob123

    Hmm… can’t duplicate @fzncloud‘s problem.

    Tried creating a new account with username “wttestbuddy” and display name “wt”. New registration activity lists “wttestbuddy”.

    what version of the plugin are you running? v0.54 should have fixed this problem.

    @r-a-y

    @nuprn1 – Sorry, I meant the xprofile value for “field_id” #1.

    Hmm, could it be a problem with single WP / non-multisite?

    [EDIT]
    It appears so! Looking into it! ;)

    [EDIT #2]
    Okay issue fixed! Rolling out fix!

    sweet, thanks!

    Hey r-a-y, I have updated to 0.56,

    Will let you know if we experience anymore of the name duplications.

    Thank you so much for spending time and effort in rectifying this issue. As we are living this website during the coming week, It has been greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!

    We haven’t got far enough with our BP site yet to notice any such behaviour, but just wanted to thank you for your work @r-a-y.
