Using a theme that is NOT buddypress compatible – can this be done?

    hey All…
    First post here on the BP forum…but I’m looking to add a social connection to my site, and I think BuddyPress is the way to go. BUT…we’ve already chosen a theme which is not BP compatible. Is this an issue? by using BP, do I have to use a compatible theme? or is it recommended?

    We are using the Arthemia Premium theme found here.

    You will need to install the BuddyPress template pack plugin and follow the instructions. There is some code editing that you will need to do to make it fit perfectly.

    OK…I’ll check it out. Is it very difficult? Do I install BuddyPress and the BP template pack?
