Using Achievement with Scholarpress courseware plugin

I am creating a site that sells on-line courses using BP Scholarpress courseware plugin. I would like to use the achievements plugin to award a certificate of completion when someone successfully completes a course. I am sure this will need to be done with a hook and would like some advice on how it might be done.

It’s something I want to add to the plugin, I’m talking to its author, Stas, to clarify some technical details. So expect to see it in a future version.
