Using flavor theme and buddypress

Hi there this is my first post.
I am trying to make a social website where users can post up content and using flavor as the theme. I have already downloaded Buddypress. I need to know how i can enable users to create a profile page.
Then from the profile page they can go on to a content page where they can load up an image/video (which can be featured on the front page) of the flavor theme.
From the content page I need to know how the user can go to a payment scheme on the following page (if they want more features).
Please break down the stages for me and suggest any plugins that would help.
