Using usernames in web address

    I am trying to redirect new users to their inbox so that they can immediately view the welcome message that I sent them; however, this requires access to their username for the URL. I was thinking of trying to embed some Java script into the web address, but I am unsure of how to do this, or if it would even work.

    I don’t have an immediate solution but I’ve got this ability written into the latest version of Welcome Pack. Earliest possible release is this weekend but can’t promise.

    Any chance of releasing the new version? I’d like to direct people to update their profile, and give instructions for uploading their avatar.

    It’ll coincide with BuddyPress 1.2.6, which should be soon but not immediately.
