Wanting to add to

    Hi all,

    Hoping someone can help me with a way to add something to a bp-custom.php, rather than modifying any base code.

    I am wanting to modify the info shown in the top section of domain.name/members/username (the section traditionally above the Activity/Profile/messages/…. menu.

    I would like to add a reference to a current “points” score.

    This is an important part of an integration I am trying to do with the cubepoints system.

    Members always like competing, so a points system is always a good way of encouraging site activities.

    Anyone know if I can hook into this area of a user. To put something in, under the Username, or the ‘active xx secs ago’??

    The template file you’re looking for is bp-default/members/single/member-header.php

    There are a couple hooks in there that you could use:

    bp_before_member_header

    bp_before_member_header_meta

    bp_profile_header_meta

    bp_after_member_header

    You’ll have to take a look yourself and determine which works best for your application.
