Not sure. What did you change? Did you upgrade WordPress or?
I’m having the same issue. Upgraded WP to 3.0, then upgraded the plugin to the latest. Instead of group or user names, I just see the invalid argument error.
Same here. Upgraded from wpmu2.9.2 to wp 3.0, upgraded to latest BP, and latest Welcome Pack. I uninstalled Welcome pack and reinstalled it, but still get the same error messages.
Still unable to reproduce for every install. I’ll be hopefully releasing a new Welcome Pack in a few weeks, so I’ll be trying to track this down again.
My guess would be that your hosting company upgraded PHP from an old version to something newer. I’ve seen that happen when moving from PHP 4 to PHP 5. So that could be the problem, in which case you have to change the code to work properly.
@DJPaul… is there a way to flush/reset my Welcome Pack from my database and start clean? If so, please let me know. Thanks.
@pjnu Delete the “welcomepack” record from the wp_options table, that should do it.
I have the same problem. I have deleted the options record from the database several times but not too long after, the error comes back. I’m going to have to deactivate the plugin until this is fixed.
Delete the “welcomepack” record from the wp_options table, that should do it. – Did it for our BP install, was having the same issue
Thanks for confirming, @ronbercume.
For the record everyone, I don’t expect to have time to work on Welcome Pack until next month.
No problem Paul. But, seems several DB intries are stuck somewhere I cannot find. I have totally deleted the plugin, but the group invites are still being automatically sent. Strange.
