Just added points for Avatar upload in version 1.5 
Giving points for filling out non-required profile features is about the only other thing I can think of right now.
@dennis_h Interesting idea, I like it. But not sure how to go about accomplishing that right now. I’ll make note of that though.
I’ll see what i can do on Invite Anyone and Rate Forum Posts.
[Update] I looked into the “BuddyPress Rate Forum Posts” plugin and they have zero do_action in there plugin so right now that’s not a possibility. Which is what I need in order to tie it into my plugin.
@gpo1 I’m awaiting the next release of BuddyPress Album+ which is in a week or 2.
@dennis_h I got Invite Anyone partially working. It only correctly gives out points if you email an invite. So you’ll have to ask the developer of that plugin to add a do_action after the invite action is complete.
Ideally you want good content. So I feel the plugin should work with the ‘like’ feature, but there should also be a ‘thumbs down’ kind of feature that takes away points from people.
A well liked article with lots of recommendations should be worth way more than a spammy post that few people like.
Uploading Galleries ( @sbrajesh )
In my Community, it is the most important activity.
So I would like to have points for uploading Gallerys
Is there a way to deduct points for joining a group? So you can only join a group if you have earned enough points…
@landkamerun What plugin are you using for uploading galleries?
@bowromir Yes you can change the point value to -100 (so it will remove 100 points) or whatever negative point value you want

I use the plugin “Bp Gallery” of @sbrajesh ( Version 1.0 RC4 Update 1 | Von Buddydev,Brajesh Singh ).

@Xevo If you can asked the developers of the paid plugin what the do_actions are for uploading an image and deleting an image, that’s all I need.
The bp album+ guys said they will include more do_actions in there next big release which is about a week or 2 away.

1. Upload(or should we divide into upload types different points for video upload/audio uplod/photo upload) has the action “gallery_media_upload_complete” and for delete
“gallery_media_after_delete” both have media object passed in case it is required.
2. Publishing to activity(It is on the will of user to publish the media to activity, so giving points may persuade them to publish more to activity), there is an action fo it too “gallery_media_published_to_activity”

I just noticed that if my users remove a friendship and add that person back that they don’t get points deducted but I gain points. Is there a fix for this?
Also for all the people that installed Cubepoints they don’t get points for anything they did prior to the install… is there a way to retro give points for previous posts and friendships and comments? Thanks so much for all you do!!!

Thanks! Also I just notice that you can upload multiple avatars and get 5 points per each upload. Do you know if there is a way to prevent this? Maybe put a timer on it so they can change their avatar and get points once a day.

Good idea. I’m really busy this week and I’m heading out of town this weekend. So I won’t have much time to work on it this week. But I’ll make note of that suggestion.
If you have any ideas on how to make this more spam proof let me know.
