    hello,

I’ve just manage to install wordpress mu, buddypress, and bbpress it seem’s to work really nicely.

I just have a question since the forums are in the groups place what is the actual use of the bbpress except for the database and having one forum displaying all groups forum posts ?

and on the demo where is the actual forum ?

I may be overlooking something i read so much about all this stuff today .. :)

    Best regards

Extraordinary work done with all of those WP BB BD :)

Some people will want to keep everything in bp and only use group forums. Don’t want their users going out of bp. Perhaps they don’t want to create another theme for bbpress. Keeps the forum solution simple.

Keeping all group forum activity in the group *is* the purpose of bp’s group forums.

There isn’t a forum in the demo other than the individual group forums.

    hey,

thanks for the answer I would also like to keep everything going on in BP and would not like to see my members go to bbpress so after installing it I can’t remove it right ? how do I hide it ? just with a phony folder name ? or is there another better cleaner way ?

    Thank you

‘BuddyPress Groups for bbPress’. That’s a bbPress plugin, so be sure to install it in the right place. It’s made by a suspicious chap called Burtadsit, so watch out ;)
