When new official release?

Hi,

I am building a new site, and I would like to use BuddyPress Media. I see the latest release was over a year ago, but I also see in the main project site, that there is a lot of people working on it, and that you have some nightly updates.

Do you know when the new official release will be?

I am asking because I am not sure if it makes sense to use a release which is +400 days old, as in the project site, you mention not to use the nightly releases.

Thanks, I know about it, but it is not the official BP plugin for that, is it? Or I am mistaken? I am asking, because the names of this forum, and the plugin you mention are the same, but then there is also BP-Album… Could you please clarify?

I believe its a different plugin, however after reading it, it seems to do everything that BP Album/Media does not do. Multiple uploads – different media – drag and drop uploads. It has a 4.7 outta 5 stars, so it sounds like the majority of users like it. This plugin, sounds like it is called BP Album, however when they finally switch to their major release it will be called Buddypress Media, if that clarifies anything. Basically the same name different solutions. So I guess the question is, which one will be more likely to succeed, or be accepted?

buddypress-media (aka bp-album) official site is here: http://code.google.com/p/buddypress-media/
Release version is BP-Album 1.8.11 and works well with BP 1.6.1 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-album/
