Wire as Blog

I’ve been trying to make Buddypress work with the Prologue theme and it occured to me that the Prologue microblogging format is essentially duplicated by the Wire.
Is it possible to re-purpose the Wire within the Buddypress Home theme via a widget or perhaps custom coding? Essentially use the Wire as the blog format within Buddypress Home and potentially as your member theme to create a microblogging network that integrates nicely with the BP components…

as i said, i made that same think you’v planned to do
not using wires but integrating buddypress membertheme with wordpress loops
