WordPress or WordPress MU???

    Hey everyone,

    I have no idea if I should be using wordpress or wordpress mu for buddypress. Are there major advantages to one over the other. I know that in order for your users to have blogs you need to have MU but I’m still unsure if I want them to have that capability. I also really need to disable user registrations and make it ian invite only site. I found a plugin for that but it can only be used with MU.

    So which is better for Buddypress?

    the same, the only difference is the blog creation.

    eor highlights the other difference. Some plugins were designed for WPMU and won’t work with WP and vice versa. So, the plugins you want to use should be part of the decision also.
