Think I’ve figured some of this out. It seems to have been clashing with John Godley’s Redirection plugin (http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/redirection/) – when I disable that, we’re good again. Which leaves me with the minor problem that I’m quite fond of the Redirection plugin, but if I have to live without it for now, I can…;-)

@somethingelse HI @somethingelse – thank you, really appreciate that! Once I’ve managed to get rid of the welcome pack welcome message (which at the moment is looking as though it might require the nightmare of a fresh install) I will definitely take a look at the ‘login with ajax’ one.

Glad you sorted your one out. If you’ve got any spare…[Read more]

Further oddness…

I cycled through some different options under Settings->Reading – by about the third time I’d got it back to ‘Home’, the browser where I wasn’t logged in was showing the original home page again.

I came back to Chrome – and still had the Welcome page! Logged out – still got the welcome page. Logged in, out, in, out, shook it…[Read more]

Hi there! Thanks for this plugin – I was just commenting out loud on how well it’s designed, which is something I don’t usually do.

But then I hit a slight snag – maybe because I’m on WP 3.1.1? It’s a bit bizarre…

I’d set the welcome page (a lovely piece of functionality). All well and good.

Then I realised that any time I went to the home…[Read more]
