Have you considered it is a theme or plugin other than BuddyPress causing the issue? Wow, that is pretty harsh! BuddyPress is no scam, it is free software built by an amazing development team and they also give free support. If your upset because you cant figure out something then ask the community. The community is made of volunteers that are not compensated so please keep that in mind.
