@backpackersunion Some have asked about the “Hi” part. I suppose that could be changed. I have seen a few people ask, but if I see one post about something here, I normally multiple that number by 100, because very few people find it easy or convenient to get in contact with us (with support question), so probably quite a lot of people would like…[Read more]

Thanks for your feedback, @backpackersunion. I’ll let others chime in as I spent a long time working on the email feature, so it’s close to my heart, but here’s my thoughts:

	Decisions, not options.
It’s much easier to add options than it is to remove options.
It’s risky to add options or features unless you’re sure what your users want, so…[Read more]

@BackpackersUnion I’ll update the documentation now. You either always use two or three pairs of brackets for tokens.

Two brackets: insert this value safely (escapes HTML).
Three brackets: insert this value verbatim (potentially dangerous if mis-used).

Always use two brackets unless and until you find somewhere you need raw markup.

Hi @backpackersunion,

Companion stylesheets were introduced in 2.3. You can read more about them here.

If they’re not quite to your taste, you can dequeue them. Here’s an example of how to do it:

function dequeue_bp_twentyfifteen() {
wp_dequeue_style( 'bp-twentyfifteen' );
}
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'dequeue_bp_twentyfifteen'…

You could perhaps have a look at replacing the current default nav for this BP WP style nav, haven’t looked at this for a while but should still function:

No, the Devs has not made this yet it seems. I am not sure if this and/or bp menu toggle for responsive views is going to be incorporated in the next version of BP or not. Though it is high time ( or may have passed the high time) for this.

If you are interested or can convince the Devs or can submit patch you may find this…[Read more]
