If you used the manual download, simply extract the &#8220;buddypress&#8221; folder from the .ZIP file to your web server&#8217;s /wp-content/plugins/ folder.</p>
<p>Then login to the WP backend and click on &#8220;Plugins&#8221;, BuddyPress should show up.  Simply click on &#8220;Activate&#8221;.</p>
