I don’t have any group forums, as they’re not necessary. Using most recent version of WP & BP under Woo’s Canvas theme. Thanks!

Can someone explain the difference between BuddyPress site-wide forums (bbPress), and if you installed bbPress first and THEN installed BuddyPress?

Here’s my quandary: I want to use the voting-widget plugin. But they only support BuddyPress bbPress site-wide forums. The plugin won’t work, because I installed bbPress first THEN BuddyPress.

Posted this yesterday, but it confused even me — so I’m not surprised it wasn’t addressed.

Basically, I’m using the bbPress login widget to handle site-wide logins.

But when users try to login immediately after activation, they’re technically logged it, but BP spits out an error anyway. Here’s the screen shot…[Read more]

OK, color me confused. Registration is working (the only thing I changed was not directly linking to the /register page, but I can’t see how that would be an issue), but now there’s another problem.

When a user registers, they’re forwarded along to the “wait for your confirmation” message. Once a user clicks the activation link in the e-mail, the…[Read more]

Entirely perplexed. It was working last week, and check it today and no dice. I’ve run the gamut of Plugins, etc. Upon “Complete Sign-up” the user is redirected right back to the Registration page with everything carrying over except for the passwords.

OK, so I’ve got bbPress 2.3+ running soundly, but I really need the private messaging feature offered by BP. The bbPress folk suggested I just install BP, turn on what I need and I’m good to go.

Here are my two primary issues …
1) The “Edit” link doesn’t appear on the Profile.
