When I asked GoDaddy if I could simply restore the old files from a previous backup to see if that would bring the Activity Feed content back, the reply was not to copy over the wp-config.php file.  This tells me a new database was used. One click migration from one hosting plan to another.  The only difference was that the BuddyPress Activity Stream was no longer there.</p>

<p>I upgraded from basic GoDaddy hosting to Managed Wordpress to increase site speed.  However, once the migration was finished, the Activity Stream content was all gone.  Also the home page widget showing all new members (set to 100 to show all members) was empty. I had to change it to show Popular to show any members.</p>

However it redirects to /wp-admin.php which then redirects to /wp-login.php and they have to click Register again and it is very confusing.
