I upgraded from basic GoDaddy hosting to Managed Wordpress to increase site speed. However, once the migration was finished, the Activity Stream content was all gone. Also the home page widget showing all new members (set to 100 to show all members) was empty. I had to change it to show Popular to show any members.

What is nice is that when you click on the profile of someone who is a friend, you can still cancel the friendship there if you need to.
