I’ve looked through the threads and nothing I’ve found has worked to remove the sidebar from the Register page. I saw a thread from a few months ago advising to remove the sidebar code in register.php and adding the line of CSS but that didn’t work either. I want to keep member listings, groups, etc. private and not appearing to the public on the…[Read more]

Thanks very much for your help! I did the manual link as your suggestion…it showed up in the member-header file but the second file put it in the header of a group I already created. It would be great if it could show up on the user’s profile page under Groups, in the sub-navigation with:
Memberships
Invitations
Events
or a tab…[Read more]

When I go to the link to create a group, at about the 4th or 5th step there is an option screen that reads, “Select people to invite from your friends list,” however the friends list doesn’t appear. I continued to finish creating the group, the group was created fine, but I had to go back into my profile page again, go the Groups link,…[Read more]

I was wondering this too. The “create group” tab shows up if I directly go to my link: http://durhamregionactionnetwork.com/groups/ (same with Forums with bbpress) but how do users find the link when it isn’t appearing in their profile?

thanks to you both for the advice! Yes, I have just contacted the theme developer and awaiting response. I used the buddypress login widget in the sidebar. It shows up in the Safari browser but not Firefox or IE. If there is no fix, I will download a login widget, thanks again!
