Thanks guys. Definately referred to those when installing.

This is essentially new WP install with new BP and bb. BP came first. Both at most recent versions.

Most everything seems to be working, but I wonder if somethings missing in those “Tabs” and “Modules”. Are they just gone now.

My biggest concern is that doesn’t seem that functional.…[Read more]

Hi,

I just installed BP 1.8. I don’t see a Forums Component, nor a Forums Tab in the BuddyPress Settings screen.

After activating bbPress I still don’t see this, even though all resources I seem to find show screenshots of this.

I assume it was moved/removed in 1.8 and those docs are old, or somethings missing.

Please help.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi,

Is there a filter I can use to set the class on the <article> tag for most dynamic pages created?

Or do I have to resort to over-riding that template in my child theme?

Anyone know?

Thanks,

Hey Paul, Thanks for the help. My theme’s footer does call wp_footer. It did before the install of BP. I should also note, that on the initial install, the admin menu was working.
