It is either because there is a bug somewhere due to the gMail address or a bug with the owner of BuddyPress in Version 3.1.0 but it is going to take somebody far smarter than me to figure out this peculiarity. WP and BP are always up to date but the spam never stops coming. Its extrememly frustrating, the only solution that works for me is to to block [&#8230;]</p>
