I’ve committed the patch, so this should now be fixed in trunk.

In regards to your above comment. You should be able to install the nightly build over bp-album without any issue. You can delete the bp-album database table if you want.

@modemlooper you can throw your code for that straight into bp-album if you’d like :)

The nightly builds are not suitable for a production environment at the moment. Depending on your time frame however, you could probably begin developing a site which would be using Bp-Media.

    Hi @bamalife

Could you test bp-album on your setup with the default Buddypress theme and WordPress 3.3+ I think the problem may be in your theme. I’m running WordPress 3.4 (development) and BuddyPress 1.6 (also development) and bp-album is still functioning.

Let me know what happens for you.

    Cheers

@fpats Check out our pivotal tracker https://www.pivotaltracker.com/projects/169903, at the moment its the best way to see what we’re working on/planning to add.

The nightly builds are the lastest builds of Bp-Media, as we haven’t got a BETA out yet.

@mikepratt Thought I might answer a few of your questions.

Your correct when you say that Bp-Album and Bp-Media are unrelated, the two are completely different.

In regards to version numbers, me and foxly have discussed them a bit, we are sticking with 0.1.9 for now but its possible that Bp-Media could be version 0.2.0, or possibly even 2.0.

Once Bp-Media is released I don’t believe that we will be providing support for Bp-Album.

“Currently serving millions of users on 15,000 different websites” is referring to Bp-Album, as Bp-Media doesn’t have a working release yet. Although you’ll have to ask Foxly about the figures.

    @fpats

The extract you’re reading is in regards to BP-Media, which we are still developing, and have not released yet. I assume what you have downloaded and installed is Bp-Album, and it only supports photo uploads.

You wont be seeing any of what you’ve quoted above in Bp-Album, so you’ll have to wait for us to release Bp-Media.

    Hi mate,

You’ll notice that most of the nightly builds have a release date in the file name, so whenever you looking for the latest build, look for the one with the most recent date. The build named

    Bp-Media_Nightly_Build-2011-09-24.zip

is our latest nightly at the moment.

@core212 I’m guessing you’ve got WP_DEBUG on? You should turn that off if you want to check out the plugin, because there are allot of debug messages at the moment.

@core212 Ok, that was my bad, must have changed something back when I uploaded the second build. I’ve updated the one on the download page again, and it will work this time. Sorry about that…
