Backend still shows this tab when a user is logged in.

@functionmunchkin Have you tried clearing cache? Cannot replicate that in my installs. WP/BP versions? Single WP or WP multisite?

@functionmunchkin The option to “allow users to register” in Network Admin > Settings is the same as the one in a single WP site’s option in Settings > General in that link.
