<p>If you want to use an existing Wordpress theme, use the BuddyPress Template Pack plugin:<br />

<p>You might have to change the user role to &#8220;Author&#8221; in order for those plugins to work.</p>
<p>&#8220;Bumping a post&#8221; means replying to your own post in an attempt to get a response.</p>
