Oddish is nothing more than a blue bulb with a pair of feet from the round shape, has two small red eyes and a mouth, while above the head has five large green leaves which can use as if they were arts.

None.
Special abilities
Oddish is able to restore his health in the moonlight. Its leaves are prehensile, that can be used as arts. Behavior

Oddish planted in the ground
Oddish look like plants, the most fertile soil, rich in nutrients. During the day, while it is planted underground, it is thought that his feet can become a kind of roots. Oddish grows by absorbing the rays of the moon and the more fertile the soil, the more its leaves turn glossy. When you bury in the ground, leaving out only its leaves to hide from enemies and appear as a small bush. It is also said that if someone tries to pull him out, he shouts aloud. Oddish is a nocturnal Pokémon and wakes up after having swept the moonbeams. When he wakes up is very active, scattering its seeds everywhere.
Habitat
The Oddish live in grassy plains, tropical areas such as jungles and swamps, especially where the soil is rich in nutrients, are very common and live in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Kalos, while Unova only live in the White Forest.

Curiosity
No other Pokémon has the same combination of type Golbat and its evolutionary family.
The Golbat evolutionary family has three double resistances, second only to Heatran, who has five.
Golbat is the first Pokémon in the National Pokédex who got a new evolution in a later generation.
To the fourth generation, or Golbat nor Zubat could learn Flight although the steering wheel type.
Zubat and Golbat appear in every regional Pokédex (in the Unova only from Black 2 and White 2).
Golbat is one of the few Pokémon that you can get in every major game, including expansions and remakes.
Until now, all enemy organizations in the major video game series have at least one of their members using Golbat and / or a member of its evolutionary family.
Golbat shares the name of the species with Zubat, Crobat and Woobat: they are all known as Bat Pokémon.
The combination of colors Golbat was the combination of Crobat colors, inverted. This also applies to its shiny variation.
Golbat, even at the height of happiness in FireRed and LeafGreen, can not evolve into Crobat if you do not have the National Pokedex: at the time of evolution the Pokémon remain the same and you will see “…?”.
Origin
Probably, Golbat is based on a common vampire bat.
Origin of name
The name Golbat could have originated from the word “Gollop,” which means “to eat or drink quickly or eagerly” and bats (bat).
