The rogue posts are coming from people posting using the ppBress form (I have a page that includes it using the shortcode bbp-topic-form) which creates a topic in the group’s forum, but doesn’t associate the topic with the group.

I’m running WP3.5.2, BP1.7 with bbPress forums and the Razor theme. Also using the GES plugin for email notifications.
