The code needs to go onto bp-core-avatars but so far I can&#8217;t get anything other than a static description ie &#8216;avatar image&#8217;</p>

files are uploaded into blogs.dir/files (I upgraded from WPMU) I have included the rewrite rule </p>
<p>RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2  </p>
<p>but so far it&#8217;s not doing anything usefull.</p>
