I have checked the codex. I found this page: http://codex.wordpress.org/Dynamic_Menu_Highlighting but it doesn’t really cover what I’m trying to do.
I checked out that plugin, but I’d rather use Wordpress menus to handle my navigation rather than the admin bar if at all possible.

Any other suggestions?
