<p>I haven&#8217;t tested your solution but wanted to point out any modifications you make to core files such as <em>buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypresss/members/single/profile.php</em> will be lost on upgrade of the plugin.</p>
<p>There is a way around this! Take a look at the <a href="http://codex.buddypress.org/themes/theme-compatibility-1-7/template-hierarchy/" rel="nofollow ugc">Template Hierarchy</a> article.
