Our avatars work fine in IE8, but those on your site don&#8217;t, so it&#8217;s probably your CSS. (They&#8217;re fine in Google Chrome Dev, too). Sleep and a fresh look helps! 😉</p>

As Greg&#8217;s said; the reason is that enabling multisite loads more code which needs more memory.</p>
