| About Me | Dimitar started using WordPress more than 10 years ago and in the last couple of years he is getting more involved in the WordPress community. Initially he started to use WordPress as a part of his job as a customer care representative at SiteGround. He not only assisted the customers of SiteGround, but also created several websites using WordPress as he liked the software so much, these sites included a personal blog and also a couple of business websites for local companies in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Attending WordCamps is one of his passions since 2012 when he attended one for the first time – that was WordCamp Sofia. Since then he visited several WordCamps in Europe, USA and even Canada (WordCamp Toronto in 2017). Since the beginning of 2018 he also organized the first WordPress meetups in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and he was the lead organizer of the first ever WordCamp in Plovdiv in 2019 which was held in Plovdiv’s Drama theatre. |

| WordPress Origin Story | Around 9 or 10 years ago I decided to try a couple of CMS solutions to see which one would best fit my personal needs back then. The first time I saw the admin panel of WordPress I was in love with it and started using it for almost all my personal projects. Naturally I created my first blog about something that I love (Bulgarian pubs) and I got addicted to using WordPress every day. |
