<p>I really would like none of those brackets to show up on email notifications.  Is there a way to remove them safely? There should just be the site name showing. </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The warning appears at the top of the page, where the menu bar is, right under the notification tab.  I am not sure if there is a notification page that can be seen either with content or blank.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>OK, I had this plugin installed; BuddyPress xProfiles ACL and found out that it was conflicting with the &#8220;edit profile&#8221; link. </p>
<p>I disabled it and it now works fine.  See if that may be the case for you. </p>
