I have solved my problem by using the other option (the new install) – after doing several attempts on the bb-config.php with correct data according to my keys on the wp-config.php and hosting data and so forth, till the moment i’ve had enough with that error message 😛

I have tested with the default bp theme and still having the very same problem.
