This is the format of the username that displays in the activity feed.

However, in order to mention the user, the format is firstname-lastname.

Is there any way to make the @username format consistent with the actual username?

It seems buddypress maps is no longer being supported, so glocate.me is our best option. However they’ve temporarily suspended new subscriptions for some reason.
