<p><a href="https://sendgrid.com/docs/Integrate/Tutorials/WordPress/sendgrid_wordpress_plugin.html" rel="nofollow ugc">SendGrid</a> is the way to go. Their official WP plugin has a wrapper that plays nice with BP&#8217;s wp_mail API. It is the only service at the moment.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m curious if you converted to Mailgun?</p>
<p>I have a BP site that relies heavily on emails and we&#8217;re just realizing that although we&#8217;ve been using Mailgun for several months that the emails are plain text and not HTML. I&#8217;m now trying to figure out where the disconnect is from Mailgun or WP/BP emails that HTML emails are not being sent (as desired).</p>
