Though @boonebgorges should fix his plugin to fit nicely with header buttons instead of a line of text. 😉

@nit3watch @pcwriter – indeed, it was a file path problem in version 1.0 of the plugin. Corrections in version 1,01 resolved that. Re-activated all other BP/WP plugins in test install and all are working well together.

Hey, I’ve tried incorporating this into my site, but i realized there is no way for a user to delete the data since it does nothing if the fields are empty. Is this related to lack of ability to populate fields? I’m wondering how you approached this? @nit3watch

@nit3watch – No, I didn’t try it. I fixed your gcard_group_card() function previously.

After looking at your code again, it looks like you’re never calling that function so nothing is displayed.

You need to add the gcard_group_card() function somewhere in the gcard_show_card_in_header() function. Probably after the header.

I’m going to assume you’re editing groups/groups-loop.php, hopefully in your theme and not the core BuddyPress files 😉

Find this bit near the top of the file:
if ( bp_has_groups( bp_ajax_querystring( ‘groups’ ) ) )

And change it to something like:
if ( bp_has_groups( bp_ajax_querystring( ‘groups’ . ‘&per_page=5’ ) ) )

Wouldn’t it be simple to hide the option “create a forum” from members so that only admins and moderators can create forums? What is the code to check? Is it is_group_admin or is_group_mod?
