<code>bp_loggedin_user_avatar( 'html=false' );</code><br />
(available in /bp-core/bp-core-templatetags.php)</p>
<p>Because that will automatically call the logged in user&#8217;s avatar without using the generic bp_core_fetch_avatar() and needing additional parameters.</p>
