I don’t need to change the forms or anything, I’d just like to be able to clarify some of the steps for my less-tech-savvy users.

Would it be possible to create a custom template for this? Or is there some other “upgrade proof” way to mess with the registration template?

I’m using all the latest- BP 1.7.1 and WP 3.5.1
