How do we fix this issue for WPMU installations?
I would donate towards this effort.
never mind
“The image would upload but the cropping window wouldn’t appear, just two copies of the image one the upload size and one a cropped size would show”
This is what I am experiencing, but I don’t know if a plugin is creating the problem.
I have had this issue as well and I am running WP MU 2.9.2 w/ BP 1.2.3. This also occurred in previous releases of BuddyPress.
@pandragon, did you have success with fixing the crop avatar issue?
Should someone submit a ticket for this issue?
Go to admin side of your blog then click from left menu Settings -> Miscellaneous Settings — I don’t think this menu is available in WordPress MU, am I missing something?
I would like to know as well.
I have the same problem, I am experiencing exactly what you described triv, and while I am running a custom child theme, I do have all the default divs in place.
I have the same issue, although I haven’t attempted a code fix yet. I am running a custom child theme with BP 1.2.3.
That worked, thanks for the lesson.
Right now the stylesheet_directory is “template_url”
This is a custom page template that resides in the same directory as the stylesheet, all of this is located in my child theme.
Thanks for the help.
thanks for your help dre1080, I’m not sure why this aspect of the child theme concept wouldn’t work.
So it is required that I use absolute paths in my child theme for images?
the damn PHP part doesn’t show up when I post it here
, I’m not really into using absolute paths, this has to work.
I am interested in this as well.
I tried this before with a checkbox and it created a field on the user’s profile. I would love to have this functionality, but it is not crucial.
Inspirational

This is major for me, I gots to know.
Same here
I was hoping it was a cache issue. I have my work cut out for me tonight, thanks for your suggestions. All of you have helped me out in the past, thanks for the quick response. I will let you know what I find out.
I will send in the Firebug and see what I can find. Unfortunately I can’t share a link right now.
I have was able to export and import my WordPress content into WordPress, getting all of my users, their info, and buddypress x-profile fields is where I am getting hung up. I keep gettin the #1062 – Duplicate entry ‘1’ for key 1 error message.
Do I need to remove the tables on the new site that I intend on replacing with data from the old site? Does phpMyAdmin now allow overwriting, or is this not good practice? I gotta get this sorted today.
Bigup the one like r-a-y!
I am moving from WPMU to WPMU, I am mainly concerned with transferring all the membership and activity.
