The problem appears when I want to add a link to the activity. The link preview is not loaded and I cannot add it. This happens when I set php 7.3 to the hosting provider.<br />
When it is 7.2 everything works fine.<br />

<p>testing bp live notification 1.0.3 plugin, I&#8217;m not sure maybe this may vary depending on your PHP error reporting setting, btw it didn&#8217;t work for me so I checked the ajax response in Firebug and it started with some html (PHP warning):</p>

<p><code>bp_is_current_component( ‘activate’ )</code> and <code>‘activate’ == bp_is_current_component()</code> and <code>bp_is_activation_page()</code> and <code>is_page(&#039;activate&#039;)</code> all work by themselves &#8211; it was my function that was missing an exit statement that was the problem. Thanks to <a href="http://buddypress.org/community/members/sbrajesh/" rel="nofollow ugc">@sbrajesh</a> it&#8217;s all sorted now.</p>
