<p>I am running wordpress 3.8.1 and buddypress 1.9.2, recently I have noticed the notifications show up with a number but when I mouse over it&#8217;s blank, when I view notifications there is nothing there as well.</p>
<p>I do not have any plugins that would interfere with this, I have the ntifcations feature turned on in the buddypress setup. <p>I have recently moved to a VPS with 2 gigs of ram. This server houses two sites. A buddypress install and a small wordpress standalone blog.</p>
<p>With buddypress I have about 8 plugins running including the buddypress and forum plugins. </p>
