<p>Found a solution for you.<br />
In Atahualpa theme options, click on &#8220;NEW Add HTML/CSS Inserts&#8221; and add the following at the top of the &#8220;CSS Inserts&#8221; section:<br />
<code>td#footer a:link, td#footer a:visited, td#footer a:active {<br />
color:#fff;<br />
}</code></p>
<p>Bingo! White text.<br />
(BTW, that&#8217;sa whole LOT of configuration options in that theme!)</p>

<p>The only thing you may have overlooked is the fact that you&#8217;re using a theme (Atalhualpa) that has the wp-admin-bar contained within a table data cell whose ID the plugin doesn&#8217;t recognize: td#footer.
