I have a site that I dearly love, but buddypress is making it too hard for me to update mysite with exciting templates that arn’t compatible. I know I know I can use the bp template thing, but even […]

What should my directory permissions located and how should they be set?

Is their a generic way the .htaccess files are suppose to look like?

Yeah I know basic questions, but like I said I have only rudimentary understanding of these sorts of things so I just want it to be clear.

No I am using http://www.mysite.com/username/etc

I just followed the simple MU instructions from Wordpress.

It seems that the album plugin creates (with corresponding new folders) this weird path where it duplicates new fold /home/controlpanelusername/public-html/wp-content/upload/album instead of just going into the already existing upload file path.

-Foxly

Thanks for getting back to me!

I am using MU setup of wordpress/buddypress.

So is their a work around for that? What do you suggest.

I know about FAQ wiki I am just too dense to understand what to put in the “blah” fields that sort of thing.

Thanks again!
