<p>But that is exactly what I want. I want to add the work community in front of all the BuddyPress urls.</p>

It wasn&#8217;t trivial, and I&#8217;m not finished yet, but I just wanted to say it&#8230; The solution was augmented with <a href="http://buddypress.org/community/members/apeatling/" rel="nofollow ugc">@apeatling</a>&#8216;s BuddyPress Template Pack plugin, and code to reference files of the custom Thesis template.
