<p>Not only does the default avatar image for groups NOT appear when I&#8217;m setting up groups or even adding a new avatar but I noticed that I have no options for user avatars at all. I removed the BP plugin, deleted all tables in the DB related to wp_bp and also wp_bb (forums). Removed the avatar folder in uploads for images but I still have the same problem ;( </p>

<p>Yes it is using my Gravatar and the user name when enabled. If I disable Buddypress it uses the default mystery man gravatar and the name the poster used when writing the comment.</p>
