<p>Just read through the Pastebin text, and yeah the bookmark tool looks great. Worked perfectly! I&#8217;m still puzzled by why the activity item isn&#8217;t created when you create a post by clicking <em>Home Place</em>. My hunch is that <code>valuser_add_new_post_activity()</code> isn&#8217;t executing due to the <code>newsbaby_after_insert_post</code> hook not firing. </p>

<p>A possible avenue to explore might be this value causing issues, it&#8217;s one wpengine have stated is  or was a factor in a script problem for one of their clients.</p>
<p>The possible workaround for this it to add this to your .htaccess file with a new value, default is 1000<br />
php_value max_input_vars 2000</p>
