Wonder if I had created an email account called ‘noreply’ if that also might have solved the problem,.

I’m not thoroughly satisfied with this solution because it is too mysterious , but at least it is a solution.

The first problem stated in this thread, the forgot password feature is not sending emails, is different than what the “me toos” are describing. With BuddyPress enabled A new user who creates an account gets their account notification email The […]

Thank you everybody for the suggestions. I’m setting up a site for an artist community and I don’t want BuddyPress to assign (IMHO not very attractive) monster gravatars to the members at all. Perhaps a future version could be written to respect the WordPress setting for No Avatar.

@kunalb Thanks for this great plugin. I want to override the orange color for .ep-event-details specified in events.dev.css. First I put the class in my child theme style.css. This didn’t work until I disabled events.dev.css by renaming it to xevents.dev.css. I’m now trying what you are saying above, and I want to make sure that I […]

It would be nice to be able to override the styles as-in a child theme – which is the first thing I tried. Why they chose to display events in an orange (#FFA200) instead of a neutral color is beyond me! Is that color likely to go with the majority of themes? I can’t show […]
