Still can’t believe no warning is shown. Strange.

But fixed it by editing the input field, so only letters and numbers are possible to type.
And a message above the field.
Nasty workaround…

No problem.
E.g. ‘Firstname Surname’ renders as just that, with a space between the words.

I have an Excel/CSV with user data that I need to import into WordPress/BuddyPress. The users have a lot of extra info I need to map to profile fields. I have not found a plugin that can do this, so I’m looking into doing this manually.
